The farm is currently 40 acres.
Gently rolling land with spring fed
creeks and a pond. A great place
to raise children, livestock and, in
our case, Boerboels. We have a
variety of varmints that our dogs
deal with. Racoons, foxes, coyotes,
and even a bobcat or two! We also
have to deal pretty frequently with
our neighbor's rogue bulls and
cows. (Not all farmers are good
ones!) These have served as tests
for the courage, tenacity and brains
of our Boerboels. They have saved
me many times!
An old dairy barn has become an excellent
whelping barn. Complete with whelping boxes,
exercise pen, bathing facilities, and of course,
for my comfort, a TV and a recliner.
The spring fed pond offers a great way to
cool off even in the heat of summer!
