Spider has one of those wonderful, confident personalities that
make for an outstanding companion and pet. He would prefer to be
with his family no matter where that might be. He is a very light
moving dog despite his large size and can run all day or be content
to lay at your feet. Spider's sire was bred by John Blackwell and
has one of the best hip scores of the breed as well as being one of
the larger of the breed at 31" and 180 pounds. (Our boy will mature
to this size also!) Spider's mother is our own Blackwell's Shirley of
Voel Gerus who is also the mother of Geranen's Kimberlite and
Geranen's Marble Rye. His pedigree includes Blackwell's Egoli
Vegter, Leontix Shumba, Heater's Doc, Night Train, Piona Lugar,
Dopper Butch, to name a few.

height and approximately 160 pounds), Colonel has shown himself to
be agile and fast. He is a serious dog, looking forward to work and
helping me. Gentle with those he is introduced to, and loving to my
grandchildren, he nonetheless is ready for action at any time. With a
strong musculature and good angulation Colonel looks to be able to
compliment and improve on many of the Boerboel bloodlines.

Colonel is a large dog who I would guess at
28-29" and 150-160 pounds. He loves people
and is kind to other animals. Has shown
aggression only toward dominant males and
was very easy to control in those instants. I
think he would do well at protection training
or would make an excellent pet. We have
had extremely high pollen in this area (was
rated #1 in the US) and Colonel has
experienced some eye problems (heavy eye
boogers). He was checked for entropion at
about a year of age and the results were
negative. I think he would do well away from
our climate her in NE Oklahoma.
